2006/10/06: Finally got around to editing this picture. Zidane's head bugged me to no end. The shading was off, and it was too big for his body. So I fixed it. ^^ I don't usually go back to old pictures, but this one needed it badly, considering it's the only FF9 fanart I have in my gallery.

My contest entry for RPGamer's Omniart contest. The goal was to portray a scene from an RPG depicting one of the emotions specified in a list on RPGamer. I chose despair.

Ahhhh! ZIDANE! :heart: Gorgeous image, this - I remember that scene quite clearly. FF9 was the first FF I played so its rather, you could say, special to me. I absolutely adore the shading on Ziddy-kuns trousers. X3 :+fav:

There you chose the right scene, and it came out very good. It has despair written all over; in the darkness, their faces, the glow of destruction reflecting on them; I guess even someone not familiar with FFIX could feel it in the atmosphere.
An off topic thought - I wonder how many FF7 entries for despair will be sent in ;D Good luck to you~!
